Online Writing Exercise

A hunting trip in Vermont doesn't go as planned.

It all started in Albany, VT when two friends had decided to go hunting, Conrad Masse and Wayne Goff. They were using telemetry and GPS to track the bear they were going to hunt. They hopped in their truck and drove down Urie Rd.

While driving, Goff got out of the truck and waited for the bear to cross the road. Masse drove up the road a little more then got out of the truck. The bear got in between Goff and Masse, the latter of the two opened fire. Masse shot three rounds in total, one hit a tree, another struck the bear and a third hit his partner, Goff, in the mid section.

Goff is going to be alright, he was released from Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center and is in stable condition. However, pain will occur in their wallets as well, Masse was charged with aggravated assault and he was also given tickets consisting of: shooting from the road, having a loaded rifle in his vehicle and not having proper display of permits for the bear hounds.
